Order in life..

I think human being has misunderstood the thing called "ORDER", for him order is particular to his life. For a politician safe guarding his power is order and for a scientist discovering about a particular issue is order and for most of us doing a job and taking care of our little family is order. As order is divided between you and me we are ending up with disorder in our lives. But see for nature it's a holistic thing it has to balance each and every particle of it. Taking care about ourselves is really necessary but the care that we take for ourselves can contribute to the whole of humanity. At least can we have a deep understanding that order is a holistic thing not fragmented thing? It seems from that understanding, comes the holistic action which can contribute to the peace in the world. If you understood that "you can not hurt others without hurting yourself" then your action or word will never hurt others, in this way you are contributing to the peace in the world. When you read news paper, watch television or observe in your day to day life try to realize how you and others are trying hard for something and thinking it is the order for all humanity.

Desire to accumulate

Have you ever observed that we live with a desire to accumulate; we want to accumulate money, property, popularity, pleasurable things...etc. Where does this desire come from or why there is this desire in life to accumulate more and more? Is not this desire the root behind all corruption? There is this deep hidden fear in us to be nobody, and this fear is the catalyst behind the process of accumulation. Unfortunately we don't know the utter beauty of being simple and to be anonymous. Please try to observe in you or in the society the consequences for the desire to accumulate, for example how a politician is trying to acquire land, money in corrupted ways. It doesn't mean you should not earn your livelihood or you should not have any property, but without the desire for more. If you observe without the desire for more or the desire for end result in mind, the mind is more energetic and more intelligent. This "more" is in many forms a country, actor, politician, student, employee, social organization trying to be No 1 is the form of more. My question is can't you work most effectively without the desire to be on the top position? And I think surely it is possible when you love what you are doing not when you are in love with only the end result.

Beauty of silence..

It is very interesting to learn about the SELF once you start. With out memory there is no self, there is no me. Self survives in us through conflicting desires, in the form of psychological becoming, or through the feeling of guilt...etc. So self is not something we can deal directly, instead we need to be aware of our desires, fears, anxieties without trying alter them or overcome them. Then this self awareness passively works on the thing called SELF. For this you need a quality in which you will never say that I understood, because your primary interest is in learning or you have seen the utter beauty of learning something with a silent mind, which is good enough to be happy, such a mind doesn't need popularity, and it will never think social reform in terms of massive way. Only such silent mind which is not interested in massive revolution can go to the root of any problem, and can find a permanent solution, without such learning only we can see time binding solutions. This silent learning is not the property of few human beings; it is the gift for all humanity for all humanity. But unfortunately we are unable to see the beauty and strength of this silent mind, which can break through any complex problem, the reason might be we want something to be done very fast, we don't have patience to watch for a second, let your action come from that silent watching and learning.

nature of true guru

Once I read that the true guru is the one who dispels ignorance in you, not the one who imposes his ignorance on you. But unfortunately most of the gurus or spiritual teachers of the present society are the ones who imposes their ignorance on you. A true guru is just like a undistracted mirror in which you can see yourself as you are, your greediness, innumerable fears, endless sorrow, conflict, continueous effort to become something, the division between me and not me....etc. It is your responsibility to show interest to clear all the dark spots of your mind, instead of doing this primary task most of us start worshipping that person(GURU), he will slowly become authority of our psyche and whereever there is authority there is no possibility of true learning, without learning mind becomes dull and shollow. The mind which is dull can only worship and become slave to the society. The one who is not pushing you towards the activity of self learning and only informing you few facts that he learned or stimulate you with his wardrobe and peculiar accent is not a GURU at all.

process of formulation..

After reading a great deal of JK teachings and little others, everything boils down to living in the present. When one says or when I say to myself life is all about this or that, we are actually tryting to formulate life. Our brain is habitual towards formulating whatever it comes in it's way. Formulation puts us in illusion, for certain period of time it may give us satisfaction but soon life comes back with more dynamic problem which can not be meet by this formulation. Now we change the formulation and we say I must be like this from now onwards, that means we are changing from one pattern of thinking to another, that means we never know a state of mind in which there is no pattern at all. Please don't say I must live without pattern if you say you already formulated it and you are already caught in another pattern, just try to see the formation of patterns in your daily life with a simple mind. Can we say a mind without pattern is creative?

desire to be secure..

If we observe the world around us not as an Indian, Russian, American..etc rather as a human being who is not attached to any nationality, religion, idealogy it is very simple to observe that we are living in a mad world. Every nation has it's army with most dangerous and destructive weapons in their hands, and each government claims that they have to protect their nation. May be in ancient times a group of people have proteched their sect from wild animals, slowly once they dominated animals unfortunately it turned into a way where man protecting himself from man. If you are little sensitive you can observe this desire for security is in each and every one of us. Obsivously there must be security to have food, shelter and cloths for every human being on this planet we can't deny that, but why we want to be secure psychologically?. The desire to not to get hurt, insulted or dominated by another is psychological security, we want a sense of peace in our life and our misunderstanding is by accumulating more and more knowledge, power, position we will be happy. If you are logical you can understand we put the happiness at the end of more, as more has no end there is no sight of happiness in our life. Meanwhile the other humanbeing is also looking for more, you are saying if he stops for more I will, it's like a snake catching it's own tail. By the time you bring necessary change in your life you will be ready for the grave, if you are waiting for the society to change.

passive awareness

In a day if you observe yourself you are never quiet your mind is always chattering, and I think this chattering is all about becoming something. we all want to become something because in becoming something you think there is security. But my question to you all is a mind which is chattering in itself and outwardly incessantly can it be active in the present, and if you are not utilising present how can you build a better future? Is it possible to be passively aware of the thinking process. What I mean by passively is
1) Not judging your thoughts as good and bad
2) Not setting a goal to take control on your thoughts
3) Not putting any race with your thoughts
4) Being witness to your own thoughts
Just do it for few minutes you will find out how difficult it is. This passive awareness can only give true understanding about the self and only through self knowledge life becomes beautiful.
